Around 200 national and international participants from participants of annual meeting IMF/World Bank representing government officials from developed and developing countries, international organizations, international and national CSOs/NGOs, private sector, philanthropy and business, academia as well as think tanks are expected to participate in an event that features several panel discussions, with the focus on national and sectoral priorities, challenges for financing low-carbon development, examples of bankable green projects and financial mechanisms to accelerate green growth and support the green economy.
The event aims to present to an international audience the exciting possibilities for low carbon development in Indonesia. The Conference is a Parallel Event of the IMF-WB Annual Meeting 2018 as a collaborative effort between Bappenas and the New Climate Economy (NCE), the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), and the World Resources Institute (WRI).
