Global Green Growth Week 2024 will soon be held on October 14-18, 2024, in Seoul, South Korea, and October 21-25, 2024, in Cali, Colombia, with the theme “Green Growth in Times of Uncertainty”. The event is an annual GGGI event and can be attended online or offline. In an increasingly challenging global situation, it is important for various parties to continue to find solutions that support sustainable economic growth.

Global Green Growth Week 2024 will again bring together policymakers, investors, innovators, thought leaders, and program implementers from across the public and private sectors. The event will be a platform that provides valuable insights and innovative solutions to achieve the much-needed green economy transformation, especially in these uncertain times. This year, Global Green Growth Week will be organized around four dimensions of the GGGI Green Growth Index, namely:

(1) Efficient and sustainable resource use; (2) Natural capital protection; (3) Green economic opportunities; and (4) Social Inclusion

The conference will also apply four specific lenses to frame discussions and knowledge sharing, namely Economic Uncertainty, Climate Change and Natural Disasters, Conflict and Fragility, and Political Transitions. A special focus will be given to youth engagement in efforts to achieve a just transition to a green economy.
