GGGI Indonesia Welcomes New Leadership



GGGI Indonesia enters a new phase with the arrival of new leadership. Dr. Jaeseung Lee, a highly accomplished economist, takes on the role of GGGI Country Representative in Indonesia.

 

With more than twenty years of experience in green growth and climate action, Dr. Lee brings a broad and diverse range of expertise. His experience spans the private and public sectors in both developed and developing countries. Dr. Lee’s expertise includes corporate carbon strategies, economic analysis, emissions trading programs, policy analysis, program management, sustainable energy, and waste management. He is also recognized for his skills in team management, business development, resource mobilization, client management, and program implementation. In recognition of his contributions, Dr. Lee was awarded a Friendship Medal by the Prime Minister of the Lao PDR in 2022.

 

Joining Dr. Lee as Deputy Country Representative is Vidya Fauzianti. With over 12 years of experience in the environment and climate change sector, Vidya has held various key positions, including as an advisor to the Government of Indonesia. Her experience includes working with various intergovernmental organizations, UN agencies, and private and non-profit, where she has developed expertise in multiple aspects of environment and climate change. Her areas of expertise include policy development, climate finance and investment, green industry promotion, sustainable industrial zones, and energy efficiency. Previously, Vidya served as Senior Investment Analyst at GGGI Indonesia, where she worked with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia to accelerate access to multilateral climate finance, particularly from the Green Climate Fund, the world’s largest climate fund.

 

Both will lead GGGI Indonesia to a new level of efforts to promote green growth and climate action in Indonesia.
